UPMC MERCY School of Nursing Class of '14

Hello,

Was anyone accepted into the UPMC Mercy School of Nursing Class of '14 which is starting in August of 2012? I was and I was looking forward to meeting other who have been as well!

I also bought one white and one wine..

Has anyone received the uniforms in the mail yet? I haven't yet.

I actually ordered mine at the Bloomfield shop a few days before orientation, and I haven't received notice of them being in.

I ordered mine the day of orientation over the phone and arranged to pick it up at the Bloomfield store. I went there a couple days ago to buy scrubs for my work, and they said the order was shipped. Did you ever find anything out about the book situation? Was the code in your copy?

I ended up returning the book in question and ordered this... ISBN-13: 978-1437717181

Just to make sure that I had the access code.

I just got my books in the mail today. The pharm book was shrink wrapped with a white insert with the access code inside. This is what it should look like:

No it did not. Thank goodness I returned it, I would have been screwed!

Anyone get their financial aid info in the mail yet?

I emailed Ms. Wassel today to see if there was anything further she needed from me. Haven't heard back from her yet.

Did anyone just get an email from the school saying we didn't need to purchase the access code...? I don't know what the point was that we bought a new book then...

And I haven't heard anything from financial aid either.

Well... according to the email we received today from Mrs. Schuler, the book that I did have, would have worked. Looks like I am returning this book, again. She said to purchase the textbook only.

"You should have purchased the textbook only. You have purchased a textbook and Evolve online course. You do not need the online course. I hope you can return it. Keep the textbook only."

So if you have not ordered this book yet, order just this one ISBN-13: 978-1437717112, not the package one.
