Can someone explain to me what the AV, DV, F & NV in the job listings are? For example, there is a listing for RN, ICU/CCU.6AV. I assume the .6 is .6 of 40 hrs or 24 hours/week but I don't know what the AV stands for. thanks!

D, A and N refer to the shift (days, afternoons, nights) and the V means "variable" meaning that your schedule would not be cyclical but instead it would be whatever weekdays they needed you to work. The F stands for flex which means you would not be on a set shift but would instead be moved around to whatever shift has the most need for staff. hope this helps :)
