I am applying to the Second degree nursing program at UPenn. I've decided not to go for the direct entry BSN/MSN program since I am not at ALL ready for the GRE (if they decide that I absolutely HAVE to take my GRE then I will), I'm sure I want to get an advanced degree in nursing, but I have multiple intrests and want to get more in depth info once I get into a BSN program. I know it's extremely expensive ($59,000 if you decide to live on campus, which I may have to do) but I am still intrested in my chances of attending this program. Is there anyone else that is applying for next year? Any past students that can attest to the cirriculum? Is it possible to work part time while attending or should I just let that dream go right now? Did anyone live on campus while going to school? I've been trying to do a board search for past experiences/anyone that's applying for this year and there was too much to sift through. So I figured I'd start a new thread!
Hello everyone! I've applied to the Accelerated BSN-MSN program, so I too am waiting to hear on a BSN decision (as well as an MSN decision!). I'm so nervous! They haven't officially decided yet but word on the street is that it'll be not next week, but the week after. AHHH! Good luck everyone, let's keep each other updated of any new news!
revesreves, I don't think it necessarily means anything discouraging if absn only applicants don't receive interviews because I remember reading on one of these threads that there have been absn applicants who werent interviewed but were accepted. we'll receive decisions soon enough, good luck to us all!
revesreves, i love everything about upenn so it is indeed my first choice i know it is a very very expensive program to attend however (tuition has gone up by $40k over the past two years alone!
) and am crossing my fingers and toes in hopes that they offer a good financial aid package if i'm lucky enough to be accepted
...tuition alone is $106k
!
as a random sidenote, i just realized how fun it is playing with these emoticons haha

does not being granted an interview mean that you're most likely not going to be accepted? i wonder what being granted an interview means...
