2013 UPenn BSN/MSN Applicants

Hi Everyone! This topic thread is for those applying to UPENN BSN/MSN program summer 2013. I hope we can create a support network here!

I will be applying to the nurse-midwifery and WHNP program and have begun writing my personal statement. Their application should be completely available July 15th but you should be able to create an account. Good luck everyone!

I JUST got my interview invite for the midwifery specialty! It came via email at 8:13am PST. Has anyone else heard? Good luck!

Congratulations guys! That's awesome news, I'm so excited for you! I'm definitely thinking that they're going by specialty then. So far it looks like the people who have applied for a specialty that interviews on December 10th have been the ones who had received notifications so far. So I guess I'll just have to hold tight and keep on waiting! Congratulations again, I'm so happy for you guys! Are you going to go in person to your interviews or do phone interviews?

Thank you so much hopeful! You should be coming up next! Unfortunately, I have a lab and two lecture classes on the day of my interview and so I will have to opt out of the in-person interview. The email said they're allowing you to interview by Skype this year, and so I will probably choose that option!

Wahhhhhh! I got an interview offer too for the midwifery specialty :) I can't believe it. Mine was also sent at 8:13am PST. I'm sending my luck to those who are waiting! (Still in disbelief) and I'm planning to fly in, but we'll see if that works out.

PNP, don't lose hope! Did you apply for regular PNP or peds acute care or peds critical care, or what?

Hopeful, I applied for peds acute/chronic with oncology. I'm just hoping for some good news!

I have a feeling our specialties will be notified tomorrow. I don't know why, but that's just what I'm thinking :) I guess we will see though. Don't give up hope, I am almost positive that our specialties haven't been notified yet. We're almost there, we can keep waiting, we can do this!!!! :D
