Unsure- ADN in CC or ABSN

Hi everybody!

I'm a recent college grad, I got my BS in Biology and now I'm looking to pursue nursing. I've started to apply to ABSN programs in my home state (FL) but the cost is pretty high...they're around 40-50k for a 1 year accelerated program.

My local CC offers an associates in nursing 16 months for 11k. I ultimately want to get my NP (not sure whether masters or doctorate) so I'm not sure which to do. I know rn-msn programs exist but there are very few in FL. Also not sure if the extra time is worth it but I'd be saving 30-40,000 dollars which seems crazy.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
