Do we have any LICH students here for the Fall '08 semester? ;D I currently am one of those lucky few who got accepted. Anyway, this topic is to discuss anything LICH related.

I have a physical exam on Wednesday..and an appointment to get my ID card sometime around the end of the month. :o

EDIT: Also, I'd like to hear from someone who's very familiar with the school already. I have a couple of questions to ask. ;D

I have some questions for those who are acquainted with the school already:

1. How are the professors?

2. Where do the lectures take place? I'm not familiar with the buildings and stuff, so I need to know where exactly everything is..

Hey, browsing through the web site and came upon your discussion about lich. I applied there for the fall also and didn't make it. Can you tell me what you got on the nln and your gpa. I was wait listed supposedly, soooo disappointing and depressing. I actually haven't received a letter at all indicating the status of my application, just called and spoke with Marina and she told me I was on the waiting list. I went for an interview and thought it went great. I don't know what happen!!!!

I was accepted too! And I have almost the same question marks in my head as you do:nuke:

have no ideea where the classes are held and if we supose to buy uniforms in advance and what books we need and where should we buy them from, etc

lets hope some of the seniors will be kind enough to give us hints:smokin:

Hello and congrats!

Your classes will be held in the 350 Henry Street building.. i'm pretty sure that's where you interviewed. It's on the 7th floor in a classroom. We had our freshman lab's in a hospital room but I'm not sure what it will be like for you. You can wear regular clothes to class but to clinical you'll have to wear your uniform. They will tell you about that. You havent received your book lists yet? The seniors did. Well if not, you will soon. The publisher (Rittenhouse) will send you a booklist with a discount if you order from them. If you have any more q's, feel free to ask :)

Hello, I'm sorry you didnt make it into LICH. I heard that they had a huge amount of applicants. My nln score was about 115. I already have a bachelors degree. In my sciences, and other pre req classes I had about 3.5 or so. Hope I helped. Not sure what the requirements were for this year since they had more applicants (I believe)

I received a list of books from Rittenhose with a total of $ 557!

Do we need all of this books? Should I wait for the instructors to tell me what I need exactly ? it says: required titles and then a ,ong list followed by recommended titles and followed by another long ist!

hey-- you definately need all of the required text's. as far as the recommended books- that's up to you. i don't think you rreally need them, but again, your decision. you can look on other texts books such as amazon to get discounted prices. hope this helps!!

Thanks for giving me some clues. I had a 122 on my nln and a 3.4 gpa. Don't know why I was wait listed. Got a letter saying that they had a lot of applicants, and not a lot of seats. I will be reapplying in oct.

Just received an E-mail from LICH regarding CPR classes. Are they mandatory before classes start? Or I can take them anytime?

And another question:

About tuition, do we get billed by the school or something? 'Cause I haven't received anything regarding my bill yet.
