Hi all, wondering if anyone is applying to the nursing program at UNLV for spring 2014? This kills me to ask; but if so, how many points do you have and what makes you want to be a nurse? Good luck to all those hopeful nurses out there☺☺☺

I just went to the bookstore and they officially have the bundles! There were 5 books in a bundle and they were:

-Fundamentals of Nursing (8th edition) : Potter, Perry, Stockert, and Hall

-Physical Examination & Health Assessment (6th Edition) : Jarvis

-Understanding Pathophysiology (5th Edition) : Huether & McCance

-Pharmacology and the Nursing Practice (7th Edition) : Lilley, Rainforth Collins, Snyder

-Nursing Diagnosis Handbook (10th Edition) : Ackley & Ladwig

Has anyone received their scrubs yet? I rushed to get EVERYTHING on the list done so I could relax on the break and I have everything done but the scrubs! :/

Um, so did anyone else have a positive Quantiferon test? I was going to go turn in all of my paperwork today, but I got an e-mail from -------------- and apparently have to go take some chest x-rays. I'm so confused right now.

I didn't get any results back from my test at all. Are we suppose to get a TB shot?

I imagine no news is good news. I have to go take xrays tomorrow since mine was just barely positive. The doctor suspects it's another species/combo of Mycobacterium. Gross. If you didn't hear anything, I'm sure you're fine. And here I thought I was done with everything on my checklist! (this was really repetitive lol - my bad)
