Hello everyone! :)

Since the Summer 2018 cohort is about to be announced, I thought I would start the forum for Fall 2018. Who else is applying? I hope the cut off score isn't as high as it was last fall!

Do we have to go elsewhere to get the scrubs or do we buy it from UNLV on july 18 or 19?

We need to buy our scrubs from the company they provide us with. And i think we order those during the orientation which is in august. Or in July, not sure. But i was told it happens during one of the meetings either in july or august.

Littmann Classic III is THE stethoscope, from what I've been told. Haha.

But wait - we're buying stethoscopes already?! I didn't get the memo! (I didn't actually buy the Meredith Grey inspired scope, haha)

I looked online and they have some really cool colors! I'd like to get an interesting color one that's personalized so that it doesn't get stolen. I've heard horror stories. YIKES!

Hey guys, just wanted to help answer some of your questions! I know how exciting this is for you guys, I was a summer admit! Shoes have to be all white leather. You can use a stethoscope that you purchased or the one provided to you on orientation day, which is a Littmann II classic. Do NOT pre-buy scrubs. They make you go through their company, which you do during your BSN signing session after being admitted. Good luck to everyone :)

Thank you so much for the info! What else do we do at the signing session? Did you know people who weren't able to make it and rescheduled? Also, any other tips you can give us? :) And how long did it take for them to send out the acceptance letters through email after they called you?
