I really didn't want to be this person. Meaning the one who makes/follows a blog for the cohort they're applying for. Only because I'm usually a carefree person and I know this will only cause anxiety.
Anyways, we're about a month away from the deadline, how exciting!
Good luck to all of those applying. :)
I can't post my full points yet, since I'm still a week away from taking the HESI, but if anyone would like to share their points, please do. Also, if anyone wants to provide any tips for the HESI, that would be great as well.
I called and scheduled a signing session today and wanted to share some information with those who may have procrastinated, like myself. There are 5 days left with spots available: June 4th, June 18th, June 19th, June 25th and June 26th and majority of these only have 2 spots available. So, if you have not yet done so, definitely call and schedule your appointment.
I look forward to getting to know those applying and hopefully starting a new journey with you guys come Fall. :)
I bought them from Chegg and Amazon. I did price comparisons between the two and purchased whichever was cheaper. I held off buying the NCLEX book; I asked a friend if we were going to need it right away and he said to wait until the professor brings it up. I guess we'll be using it as a review throughout the entire program.
How's everybody's to do list coming along? I just looked at the checklist again and I have lots to get done, I just scheduled the CPR and Physical Exam.
i've pretty much finished everything. If not its all scheduled.
the biggest obstacle is figuring out what I want to do as far as books go
@Bianca seriously! I may have to find a PT job or something, I don't have the exact numbers, so I'm not sure how much I'm going to have to come out of pocket, but it's looking tough with normal bills plus anything that may come up that's school-related.
@Cierra, they haven't charged me either.
Has anyone been enrolled in their classes? I know during the information session she said they would do it for us, but I don't remember when she said she would do it. Once they enroll us in the classes I will have a better idea of how much I will need to come out of pocket every month for a payment plan.
I called the school and its roughly 6,000 a semester with just tuition. So 24,000 not including books, living expenses, etc. it's nerve wrecking honestly. I'm going to try and work two days a week and see how it goes. I also haven't been enrolled in my classes either
as far as books go, what is everyone doing? I've noticed a lot of people are getting used books but when I asked the advisor she said we would need the new ones because we will be using the access codes. Not sure what to do. I haven't bought my books yet for this reason alone

Is anyone looking for a place to live for about $400 a month, I am looking for another roommate?!
