University of West Florida (UWF) FNP - Spring 2026

UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

I was hoping to connect with other folks who have applied for or intend to apply for the Spring 2026 FNP cohort at UWF.  

I applied for early admission, the advisor said about two weeks for decisions to go out.  

Anyone else?

Wow! Where do you live? I'm in FL but have read a little about UoA. How are the clinicals done? I'm nervous to have no placement (at any school of course) and no support. And what's the cost compared to WFU? No pressure to answer as I'll do more research of course.

Thank you! Honestly I have no idea how they rate us and decide who's a good fit and who isn't . I have less experience than you do and my GPA is about the same as yours . I don't have veteran preference or anything ...

I am very excited ! I think you are going to enjoy University of Alabama! I've heard only great things about their program!

So from my understanding, we have online classes/ theory first 2 semesters and clinical practicum starts during 3rd semester . But it says we have to have a practicum site lined up by the middle of 2nd semester. If we can't find placement we might have to miss a semester which will delay our track... there's 4 of them and the heaviest one is during the last semester ( 180-180-180-240 hours).
