Good morning!
So I'm going to try this whole process over again, as a repeat offender...I mean applicant for UW's BSN program 2014. I applied last year, made it through the proctored essay portion but was not accepted. After nursing (haha) my wounds w/ large amounts of ice cream, chocolate & such, I've recently found my mojo to try again. Anyone else re-applying or 1st time applying for 2014? I know it's extremely early in the game, but those deadlines come up faster than you think! I've saved all the tips applicants that have applied more than once and hope that 2nd time is the charm.
Anyone else out there getting ready for it? We got this
When I took a CNA course I got a separate cert card for the CPR section. There was a change in the Clinical Consortium's rules this year about online courses and CPR requirements so all CPR training has to be done through the AHA now. I'd wait until you actually get a letter and it outlines it specifically for you but plan on taking an AHA CPR course if you don't have one finished already. Also note the cert is good for 2 years so if you take it in the summer you won't need to recert before you get your degree.

Also you can use your HIV training from CNA courses for compliance requirements :>

No they have a separate regular BSN track or LPN to BSN track. RN not req :)
So sorry about the rejection letter
I completely understand what that feels like & no words will make it feel better. Hoping UW will be a better experience for you!
