Hey guys!
I applied for UW's FNP program this upcoming fall and I wanted to see if anyone else applied and for what track. Also any information on when acceptance letters/e-mails will be sent out would be appreciated. :)

Around 4:15pm . I hope that's not the case! Did you check your junk inbox? I remember them saying they would send everything out at the same time.

Nothing in my junk box either. Seems like another long weekend of suspense for me. Please everyone keep us updated on if you hear anything.

I was accepted! Is anyone else not seeing the option to put the $250 down within the UW graduate application?

I received an email last night around 4:15 PST from the University of Washington Graduate Admissions. The email started with "Dear ____, On behalf of the University of Washington School of Nursing, I am pleased to offer you admission into the Doctor of Nursing Practice program in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Acute Care track."
There are instructions to log into he application portal to pay the $250 deposit on the program. I logged into the application portal and my application still says "submitted" with nothing else, so I am not sure that checking the application portal would be useful.
I read somewhere that only 5-10 people are accepted to my program a year (this could be completely inaccurate, it wasn't an official UW source) so I would imagine the FNP program would have a ton of more applicants and spots open. Perhaps that's why it's taking so long for you to hear back.
I am wishing you all the very best! Crossing my fingers for you.

I have a friend who is near graduation for the PMHNP track. She said it has been a very good experience. I hold mental health nurse practitioners near and dear to my heart. Good luck to you, and thank you for your dedication!

I bet you will definitely get in! hopefully you'll hear shortly after the 14th. I got waitlisted at 2 other schools and was just let into 1 of them this week (they didn't tell me where I fell though). I know the waitlist is a hard place to be on but I would be really surprised if you didn't. good luck!
