University of Washington DNP application 2022

Hello, I started this thread to get support. I turned in my application to the population health and leadership track at UW. I know we have the online essay portion coming up. Has anyone ever applied before and had to do this? Has anyone ever done an online essay? Im looking for tips and some solidarity.

LOL yea after yesterday ??‍♀️ But we won’t have a UW email or ID until we receive the offer letter to create the account for vaccinations ?

Oh gosh LOL I read that as we should have had decision letters yesterday but you’re right, final ones go out today and we just got a heads up. Thank you for the update! ? LOL

Hi All, Congrats to those who have applied/been accepted! As a future FNP student, may I ask, those who have been accepted what your credentials may have been at the time of submitting your application? RN work experience, GPA, shadowing experience? I know U of Wash. is a competitive school. Thank you in advance <3

I'm in the PHSL program and from what I've seen the application process is holistic. There is no correlation with higher grades, lots of experience and getting into the program. We did a poll the first day of school and most people had between 1-5 years experience. 

They are looking for people who want to promote equity, inclusion and help to reform the healthcare landscape.
