University of Toronto (U of T) Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing NP 2021

Hi everyone!

I have applied to the NP Program at U of T Bloomberg for 2021, paediatric specialty. My file currently says "under review" and all my documents are received. I'm wondering if anyone has received an offer of admission yet? How long did it take to hear of a decision once you were under review? Thanks!!

Oh really? Someone from this thread had the opposite response. No one has heard from U of T as far as I know, except you.

Hopefully they are just rolling out acceptance and everyone hears back soon! I accepted the program as it works best for me with flexibility being a mom and working PT (hopefully). Wanted to connect with others who will be in the program! Which one did you apply to?

Interesting, how did you learn this was it through the application portal or through email from someone? I was directly told my their admissions admin that no decisions had been made and that it would be a few weeks. 

also did you applied to the after MN certificate or the MN - NP certificate combination? 

I on the other hand heard from York and Ryerson as their admissions decisions are released earlier. Check RAAMS for ryerson if you’re still waiting.

I was told by their admissions person as well to expect 3-4 weeks for decisions to come out for U of T. And I applied for the Post-Master's NP Adult stream.

I got an email mid March with my acceptance letter! I've applied for my MN-NP combined program. Honestly I was shocked that I got accepted I had also heard it was end of March. I will check for Ryerson now, but I am probably going to decline the others. Thanks for the advice ?

Peculiar, given they said offers are only sent out beginning at the end of March at the earliest and that we’ve all been told no decisions have been made. Regardless congrats.

Agreed, congrats to you by the way! My friend who applied for the combined program still hasn't heard and it shows UNDER REVIEW for hers still. And so is mine.

Really strange ? I hope you all hear back soon, so frustrating that they said end of March with no clear timeline!! I'm glad to hear the other schools are sending out acceptance as I thought they hadn't started yet cuZ I haven't heard anything. Went onto Ryerson site but no updates anywhere, all good ?

I only applied to U of T for their PMNP program, so I am hoping I would hear from them soon ? You are the only one I know of that got the response so far.

I got an email on March 25th from the graduate program director for the school of nursing. My status on MyFile on York hasn’t changed, but they said it’s a two week delay between their email and York getting in touch.

Thanks for the reply! I havent heard anything from York but its good to know they have started to send out admissions.
