Hi everyone!
I have applied to the NP Program at U of T Bloomberg for 2021, paediatric specialty. My file currently says "under review" and all my documents are received. I'm wondering if anyone has received an offer of admission yet? How long did it take to hear of a decision once you were under review? Thanks!!

And to give you all perspective, I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) out if curiousity to inquire about the seats being offered for this year and this is what she said...
”We admit a total of about 45 students to the Adult emphasis. Of those, only about 10 are in the PMNP program and the rest are in the MN-NP Program.”
I am thinking it’s the same for the other streams as well and it makes sense how it is soooo highly competitive.
I just sent her a follow up email asking if it’s the same for the other two streams: peds and PHC.
Here’s her follow up email:
”Yes, similar. We have small PMNP cohorts and larger MN-NP cohorts. We received the most applications we ever received this year so competition was the highest it’s ever been.”

OK that’s good to know I was told that the pediatric steam only takes 15.
Hi all! It sounds like you all may still be waiting to hear about your acceptances for this year...good luck ? I am a prospective student looking to apply to the next intake for the Pediatric NP Program at U of T (my understanding is that would be 2023.) And I would love to pick anyone's brains about the application process and your experiences, who is applying to the peds program. My background is in NICU and I'm from BC and I'm debating whether its better to go the Pediatric vs Family NP route, as there are FNP programs out west. Best of luck to you all! ?

I’m catastrophizing… I wonder how they’re making decisions given there has already been a pool of rejections. I’d love to know how the process works.
