Has anyone just been admitted to the BSN online program at UTA? I wanted to know how is the program? How is it taking the online classes? Is it possible to get A's in the pre requisites if I work full time and take these classes part time? I just submitted An application. I don't know if I'll get accepted yet, but I wanted some feed back!
Thanks in advance for your help!
Don't be nervous. Just remember to take your time with the pre-requisites and pace yourself. Do not get overwhelmed because that is when you drop the ball. Also, pay close attention to all those sciences, I'm going to say it now... a B may seem good and well, but a B in Chem, Micro, or A&P, means you will have to work harder in Patho and Pharm. Do take Medical Terminology and Intro to Nursing both completely before Patho and Pharm. Medical Terminology will help you more than you know. And whenever you come across a term you do not know in Patho or Pharm, go back and break the term into the parts. 9/10 of everything we learn is vocab based so if you know what the parts of the word mean, you know the definition. I drill this into my study groups and they all say it helps.
You should logon now, they usually open the classes a couple of days early, you can get your syllabus and stuff, and sometimes they open the discussions early. You need to take the syllabus quiz (for classes that have them) before anything opens, so it's a good idea to login early. If they aren't open today then they will probably open tomorrow.
Quizzes/exams/assignments usually go live at midnight on the day class starts.

Thank you. I checked online. I didn't see anything yet... one of my transcript is from abroad, so I guess it may take more time to be evaluated. I think I will take your advice and do one science at a time. I need good grades. 8 weeks and 4 weeks is very short, so I can just imagine how compact those courses are. I'm a little nervous.
