Hi does anyone know anything about University of St Mary's BSN program? Their website isn't really informative as far as pre-reqs and stuff like that. Any information you all could give me would be great. Thanks!

I know it's $350/credit hour, and CCNE-accredited. (I have it on my spreadsheet. :D) But yeah, not much on the site about which gen eds they require, although I was surprised that they will transfer some "D" grades in non-nursing courses. I think that's the only school I saw among the many I researched that will transfer grades below a C.

Haha, we know the exact same info! Yeah, I was surprised to see that too???? I wonder why is that? Maybe I'll give them a call and ask them. IDK. Are you looking for an online program as well?

I decided on Chamberlain's RN-BSN; I start at the end of the month! :)

Here, I'll upload the PDF of my spreadsheet of online programs for you -- I looked at so many, my eyes were crossing! It was a little ridiculous. (I tend to analyze things to death. Example: the husband and I are currently shopping for a new TV. I have research LCD vs. Plasma vs. DLP to the point of nuttiness in the last 24 hours. LOL! But no, I haven't made a TV comparison spreadsheet -- yet. :D)

:chuckle Thanks. Yeah, I looked for a while too, but tuition is kind of an issue for me too. I actually enrolled for Liberty's online RN-BSN program, even though I got negative flacc about it on here from one person. I signed up for philosophy and theology and the syllabus for the theology class is what I expected, but for philosophy??? OMG, I just don't think that a philosophy class should focus on nothing but christian aspects and a research paper is needed on Christian values with your career or something like that. I am a Christian, but I don't think that they should impose that kind of stuff on people. Just my opinion. Anyway, I'm going to take a look at your spreadsheet! Thanks again!

Being such a heathen girlie and all, I don't think I'd do well at Liberty U. :D

LOL, I'm feeling the same way now. I believe in God, but I don't get up and go to church and all that good stuff that they want. One day I called and they were closed for convocation. Lol. I was like ***. Oh well. I was supposed to start VCUs R-BSN program this fall, but I missed the mandatory orientation cause I had to work, and that hospital wasn't supportive and didn't want to work with me, so now I'm at another hospital and VCU will not be accepting students in the spring so if I start this fall it wont be until like Dec 2010 when I get my bachelors and I'm just not willing to wait that long.

Oh, hey! If you're actually in Virginia, check out ODU's distance RN-BSN -- it's on the spreadsheet, too. :) $219/credit hour for Virginia residents, and both CCNE and NLNAC accredited.

Yep I am. I went to school around there. I have a friend who is doing their program, but they aren't taking students again unitl the Fall either! And I would need to take another spanish course to complete their requirements. However, their program is just two semesters opposed to VCU's program which is 2.5 semesters, and if I'm going to wait then I'm just going to continue with VCU's program.

congrats with starting your bsn program!

I would like to see the spreadsheet. I was actually starting one myself but if you did part of the work for me that would be great! For some reason it will not let me view it. can someone email it to me?

Has anyone researched any RN-MSN programs?

Thanks
