Hey! I got accepted to the University of Southern nevada's BSN program for January 2010. I was starting this thread for other people who got accepted. This will also be helpful for roomate searches. Also, anyone who has applied and is awaiting an interview can feel free to join the thread!

I interview next monday Dec 6th. Has anyone interviewed already and if so what was it like?

@ Live+247. The interview is not bad at all!! First, they give you a quick tour of the campus. You meet the office staff. Then they give you a writing sample you will have roughly 15-20minutes to complete it. After the 15-20 minutes, an instructor and student will interview you. when I did the interview everyone was very nice. They will ask you questions like Why do you want to be a nurse? A question r/t leadership/ motivation/ compassion.How well do you work in groups? If someone was slacking in the group, What would you do? etc etc The questions are similar to job interview questions. Good luck on your interview!

Congrats Sherie20! When do you start the program? I submitted my application last month so now im waiting to hear back from the college. I applied for the April 2011 Cohort. I hope I get an interview.

I start next month! I'm excited! How did the interview go? Once you complete the interview and submit your TEAS, you should find out soon. Hopefully, you you find out before the holidays or shortly after.

I thought the interview went well but it always seems hard to tell. This waiting part is driving me nuts. Thanks for all the help. I was hoping I'd hear before the campus closed for their winter break. Guess not. :( Now I have to wait two weeks to hear. Has anyone else heard anything for the February 2011 start?

Hello everyone! How's the program so far? Everyone's probly busy already with the program and doesn't have time to reply to this but I'm still hoping that someone will find time to help out. I'm planning to apply to USN for the BSN program and I would like to know how is the program and if anyone is learing well to the school. I'm kind of unsure about the school because of the reviews that I've seen and I want to know if the there is any improvement to the program since the first year they've open.
