Hi all! My name is Shai and I wanted to start a thread for everyone applying to USF Tampa's Summer 2020 Second Degree Bachelors Program. With the deadline rapidly approaching, I thought a thread would be helpful

Question for others who have interviewed- did you send your interviewers thank you notes? I quickly jotted down the names but not sure I got them right

Go onto the USF nursing website and look through the list of faculty members! This helped me to find my interviewers. I know I completely bombed my interview yesterday and want to reach out and thank them and maybe add important points that I left out.

That’s a great idea, thank you so much! I don’t feel great about my interview either- it’s so hard to tell and I’m definitely in that “overthinking everything I said” phase. ?

Those who have interview, what types fo questions did they ask you? Do you remember any?

I understand why you're asking this. We all want to be as prepared as possible and to know what to expect. But I sincerely hope no one who's done the interview already will share the types of questions they were asked. It compromises the integrity of the process and creates an unfair advantage. Even giving an idea of the type of question and not the exact questions can give people an edge that others did not have.

I just finished my interview and I think I did good but honestly who knows ? Kinda nervous and was trying to remember their names so but I only got one and she wasn't even the main person interviewing me and I can find the other one in the directory?‍♀️ Hopefully we hear back soon but I feel like it won't be until some time next week

I think in the previous cycle they held interviews Monday through Wednesday and informed everyone of their decision that Friday- but I wonder if since this cycle they were Monday- Thursday if that will bump it to next week- I kind of think it will. Fingers crossed we hear really soon. Good luck to everyone!

Oh gosh that's fast! I think that just made me more nervous, but at least we get to rip the bandaid off quick LOL good luck to you guys too!
