University of South Florida ABSN Spring 2018

I was wondering if anyone else is applying for the University of South Florida ABSN program for Spring 2018. I just completed the SOAR component of the application process and am a little confused. Looking back at other cohorts for this program, I noticed most people talked about having to submit an essay and some other forms. The SOAR application I just completed was nothing more than updating emails, phone numbers, military affiliation, and listing the schools you have attended. Am I missing something???

Yeah, I wish it was still the essay. I'm super nervous about getting in especially since they only accept people spring semester in 2018

I applied as well - seemed like a very simple application - I was surprised. I wonder what the interview would be like and how it works. Do they narrow the pool and bring in a certain amount of applicants for interviews then make decisions on seats from there?

I applied too! The application is so simple, I thought I had the wrong app. Do we really wait until october to hear back?

Yeah my understanding is that theyll send out invites for the interviews within two weeks after the deadline and decisions within two weeks after the interview

whaats every body's academic background look like. I have

3.52 overall GPA political science

4.0 prereq GPA (7/8 classes)

The only prereqs that they look at in determining the prereq GPA are first attempt of Microbio lecture, A & P 1 and 2 Lecture and Stats only. If you want to look at another forum for USF spring admission here's a link to one that has more people on it:

I'm not sure if my other comment posted or not but I'll post it again.. On another thread I saw that they only consider first attempt of Micro lecture, Anatomy 1 & 2 lecture, and stats for the prereq GPA.
