University of South Carolina 2021 CRNA

Published

Is anyone applying to USC DNP CRNA program for 2021? The website says the application portal is open, but the graduate school website and application does not say there is an active option for DNP. Their MSN option already closed their window.

So true! It literally hasn’t even been a full week and I’m dying to know.

Does anyone know when the first interviews were? Was the 17th the first round?

Still “patiently” waiting for next week ? I hope all went well with interviews!

Hey - I guess you were interviewed on Tuesday? It would had been nice to talk about the program with the SRNAs for longer than 30 mins.

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) mentioned they would get back to us on Monday the 14th right? Id hate to wait more than just this weekend to hear back from them.

I thought I did well but I know there are a lot of great candidates.  Good luck to everyone ?

I was @HAMBURGLER! He did say Monday the 14rh should be the day, but all letters will be no later than Friday the 18th is what I’ve heard from a couple sources. Unfortunately, my internet shut off right as he started discussing that and missed it by the time I jumped back on. Good luck to you and everyone else as well!

I received my letter just now. I’ve been put on the waitlist. I’m so hoping I can still get in. They were my top choice and at this point it’s also my only option left ?

Good luck to everyone else!

Hey...I was gonna say just wait another year and get another year of ICU experience but it says you got 4 years? I didn't get into any CRNA program the last application cycle - just take Adv Patho/Pharm, get your CCRN if you don't have it, charge/precept experience, maybe retake the GRE - you'll increase your chances.  I think answering the clinical questions well for the interview is also big for UofSC and giving off good vibes also.  Hopefully, someone goes somewhere else after getting accepted - it's possible.

Keep your head up @hamiltons12! There’s definitely still a chance if someone decides to attend another school!

Has anyone else received their letter? Would love to make a facebook group if anyone is interested!

Hey, I have 2 years OR and 2 years ICU at a level 1. Planning on taking my CCRN soon, but I feel like the interview could have gone better too. Did really well on the GRE and have my MSN with several advanced practice classes. All the other schools said I have a great chance next year, so that's hopeful. I appreciate it!

Congrats everyone! That's so exciting!
