Hi,
I am researching grad schools and became very interested in the University of South Alabama's ENP (dual FNP/ACNP) online program. I am interested in knowing how competitive the program is regarding acceptance. I have a GPA now of 3.3, 2.5 years ER experience in a level one trauma center, 1 year of trauma icu experience, 3 years of management experience, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and will have (hopefully) my CCRN cert when I apply. What are your thoughts considering the above information and your knowledge first or second hand on this university? Thank you for any information you can give.

I won't find out until the end of May for the Fall program. Adult Geron Primary Care. I have to work full time too but I don't know how I will be able to study and maintain a B average once I get into the following fall semester with clinicals. I basically have one year to figure it out. I am trying to get a PRN weekend job now, so I will have something to fall back on. What type of work do you do now?
Wow that is great! I just turned 50- been out of bedside nursing for a long time. I run a LTC facility. I got a PRN job in the ER and lasted one day- too hectic. So my plan is to stay in long term care and maybe work PRN in a clinic when I graduate from NP school.
I will definitely keep in touch!
