University of South Alabama FNP Assessment course

I am currently in my second semester of the FNP program at the University of South Alabama and I am taking Theory and Advanced Physical Assessment. Does anyone who has taken advanced physical assessment at USA have any pointers as to what to focus on for the exams? I have read all the chapters and the "handouts," but I am not sure where to focus. The professor has not really provided much direction for focusing our studies. The exam is on Monday and I am already feeling the anxiety build.

Any advice for how to prepare for the exams would be much appreciated! :)

That's about all you can do at this point (what you're already doing). You will get more individual attention in the specialty courses. Just pay attention to the DVD they send you and learn what's on the list. You won't have to do everything on the DVD but you follow the list of things they want you to know and pay attention to it. That's one of the setbacks of online learning, if you're really hands on and need a lot of interaction and feedback from the instructors it can be frustrating. I think you'll do better than you think you will. Good luck.

Hi,

I'm in that assessment course too. I'm just wondering what DVD are you talking about? I never received a DVD.
