University of San Francisco ME-MSN Spring 2022

Hi Everyone!

I just submitted my application for the masters entry MSN Spring 2022 Cohort at University of San Francisco. Apps were due today (Ah!) I wasn't able to find another message board about this cohort, so I started my own. Did anyone else apply?

Thank you! I also applied to Samuel Merritt for ELMSN-FNP, Johns Hopkins Direct Entry, and Columbia MDE. I haven’t heard back from Columbia but I was admitted to the other two.

That’s amazing! I got accepted to University of Miami’s and University of South Florida but I’m still crossing my fingers to stay close home and hopefully get a seat with USF ??And congrats once again!?

Congratulations to you too!! ?? I totally get it! Initially I wanted to get into USF the most because it’s closest to home but I’ve decided on JHUSON. Good luck and best wishes to you! ☺️

Congrats!! Johns Hopkins is really good but May I ask you why not UCSF if you want to go to entry MSN? I am just curious since I only applied for schools nearby my home. (I have two kids;()

Thank you!! And good question! I planned on applying but I wasn’t able to because my stats course was one semester over the 3 year recency requirement and they did not allow in-progress courses this cycle. 
 

I understand. I also have a child and it was definitely a challenging decision to go out of state but I decided to take the leap! 
 

Did you apply to UCSF?

Wow you have a kid too? So are you going to move with your family? That’s amazing and fun to live in different place! 

I applied UCSF and SMU ABSN and just in case for Emory distance ABSN too (realized California residents are not good fit but I got in though. But I decided to stay in California) 

I really like USF’s curriculum too! I enrolled it so might stay here or not. Just timing is quite tricky with all schools announcement schedules!

I envy you since you have made a decision firmly and you know what to do!! Good work!

Hi all! I got accepted (Orange campus) and paid the deposit to keep my spot. But if I get into another program that I am waiting on (won't know until Jan-Feb) then I will give up my spot!
