Members are discussing the high cost of the ME-MSN program at USF's SF campus, questioning the transparency of the program's pricing and considering other more affordable options due to the high cost of living in San Francisco. Some members are also expressing concerns about the program's quality, citing issues with clinicals, instructors, and NCLEX pass rates, leading to discussions about the value of the degree and potential alternatives like ABSN or second bachelor programs.
There isn't a recent forum so I wanted to create one!

SF! but I'm still going to interview at USD

I applied but I'm still in my second to last semester ( I graduate in Summer) and am wondering if the timeframe played a bigger part in not getting accepting. Thank you and congrats to you all !!
I graduated in 2020, had a completely different career. started as a research coordinator in a hospital in 2023. first time applying

May I ask what you did for your application that got you in? Did you happen to take the GRE? I emailed them for feedback on why I didn't get in, so hoping to hear back from them. Also for those who didn't get in, is it too soon to reapply to the September 1 deadline? I'm not sure what to do because the gap between Feb 1 - Sept 1 isn't that big for any major changes in regards to experiences and whatnot.

I have 0 clinical experience, but a lot of research projects and I work as a program coordinator for a women's health program. I think the personal statement + having strong letters of recommendation are important.
