Is there any here who applied for the University of San Diego Fall 2024 MEPN cohort?

I was looking on their website and it's looking like they only have off campus housing for grad students? Correct me if I'm wrong please because these apartments are so dam expensive

Yeah Im looking at fb group and cost of rent is way too expensive. How they pay $1200-2000 with 4 roommates??? Im trying to find a room around $1000... its hard to find

I'm honestly down to room with anyone in the cohort if it helps lower costs

I'm told there's delay in waitlisters being notified  due to FAFSA delay. Potentially into Summer . You have any insight?

No I haven't heard this. They just told me to check back in may which I thought was bizarre because usually they notify YOU if you're off the list or the waitlist simply closes when the program starts and all seats are filled because they take ppl off the waitlist up until the start of the program

Reportedly the new deadline for accepted students to commit and pay is 4/29 and then as you say they will pull from the waitlist all Summer until the cohort is full. At least there's a new deadline to go by.

Oh! I had no idea, but that makes a lot of sense as to why they'd want us to check back. Thanks for looking into that! I hope I get off the waitlist.
