Hi everyone! Wanted to start a new topic for all of us who applied to USD MEPN this cycle; good luck all! ☺️
I just saw this on their website:
"CNL Track Discontinued as of Fall 2023
Prior to Fall 2023, MEPN graduates were eligible to take the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certificate exam. As of Fall 2023, the CNL portion is discontinued from USD's MEPN program due to extensive changes made to the CNL requirements by the CNL accreditation body.“
How do you all feel about this? I thought this was one of the make differences in outcomes between a MEPN and entry level BSN.
panda24 said:Hi everyone! I got waitlisted for the 2023 cycle. Does anyone know details about the timeline for the waitlist?
Or did anyone get accepted? If so what is your deadline to accept the offer?
Hi! I was accepted and the email says the deposit is due on Fri April 1. But I'm guessing they meant Fri March 31 since it's exactly two weeks from when the decisions were released.
Sending best wishes for you!

Congrats to those that have been accepted by USD or any nursing school! I'm currently on the program waitlist and was just checking to see if anyone on the waitlist has heard back yet? I myself haven't gotten any updates. Thanks!
Hello, I am also on the waitlist and have not received any updates regarding my admissions status. Let me know if you hear anything! :)
