Hi! Just wondering who is applying to the Fall 2018 cohort!

Can you describe your application process after you submitted and perhaps talk about your background academically as well as work experience? I am nervous because I'm going into this thinking that I do not have enough direct experience as well as the grades.

After I submitted I received a letter in either late December or early January that I was selected for an interview in mid-February. It's a two day event with the first day being information sessions, tours, and a little cocktail hour and the second day is the actual interview. Just a couple weeks after that interview I received a letter in the mail that I was accepeted.

As for work experienced, I worked as a medical scribe in the emergency department for 3 years. Everyone in my class definitely has varying levels of experience, though, so don't be discouraged! I believe your personal statement plays quite a big role in the application process.

Hi guys! I'm new to this forum. I also applied to the MEPN program at USD for Fall 2018. I have an interview at APU but I haven't heard back from any other California schools including USD. Starting to get a little nervous.... but I guess most schools get back to you in Dec/Jan

I think we must be applying to the same programs, because I just saw your post in the WesternU thread, too! I have been reading threads from the past years, and it seems that USD does not start sending out notifications for an interview until the very first week of January. So - there is still plenty of time!

Here in California I'm applying to USD, USF, and WesternU. Out of state I applied to Emory University (already accepted), Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, and Pacific Lutheran University in Seattle. Azusa and Samuel Merritt had some additional prerequisites that I never took.

Very nice! Congratulations on your acceptance to Emory! I hear it's a very good school! I almost applied to PLU but I really wanna practice in California so I thought I'd try for California schools this time around and branch out next cycle if I don't get in anywhere. I applied to Hawaii because my fiancé is stationed there

Happy new year everyone! I'm also anxiously waiting to hear about interview invitations. I was kinda hoping they'd be sent out early like last year (looks like they got them around christmas) but I guess not. anyway, good luck all
