I have applied to the BSN program and am waiting to hear from them? Does anyone know when this usually is?

do you have another school option? Keep calling...it show that you are really dedicated....it is not pushy....I would still try to meet with them. I know this has to be hard....are you at a juco now or a plan "B"?

Benedictine is my other option but I just found out that you have to live on campus, which is not in my budget. I am graduating from JCCC this semester and now I have no idea what to do. I keep calling and they just keep telling me I have to wait until May 1st.

I think that Washburn has a surgical tech program? Not sure if you are interested in that...and I have seen several job postining for that. Possible interest in a CNA program? Are you committed to a BSN?

I think that sound AWESOME....I am with you. I really believe a BSN is the way to go. Are there any other school that you applied to?

I am definitely accepted in at Benedictine for their BSN program, but my first choice is the University of Saint Mary. I know i'm in the top five on the wait list, so I don't know whether to get my hopes up or not.

Always this POSITIVE....I would GUESS that if you are in the top 5 you would get it. Will you go to BC if not? Just wondering how you decided to apply at BC and St. Mary? Are you from this area? I live in atchison just like the

"feel" of St. mary better....just wondering your deciding factors? What area of nursing to you want to go into?

I just really strongly would like to attend the University of Saint Mary and I hope that they see I'm not trying to nag I just really want that spot.

I live in Basehor, so University of Saint Mary is close. My grandmother lives right by Benedictine in Atchison, but come to find out today you HAVE to live on campus so that ruined it. I'm already going to be strapped financially without housing costs. The University of Saint Mary also is an established program and are in their rythym whereas Benedictine this will only be their second class.

Pray about it and that is all you can do! I don;t think they will think you are being pushy...I have hired people in the past and I think it show that you WANT this...you will be fine....

What is your area of interest?

I would like to go on to get my master in anesthesiology or neonatal. I'm trying not to let this get me down though.

Speak to the dean of the nursing program and the dean of the college. There are ways to get out of living on campus...TRUST ME....I assume you would stay with your grandma? BC is a great school....just an fyi....I have spoke to several hospital locally and in KC and they don;t see that there is a single thing wrong with going to a "new" nursing program like BC as long as it is accedited. BC would be great....great teachers...smaller classes.....all good!
