There are a few posts about getting into this school but I haven't seen anyone commenting about how it was or anything positive or negitive about it. I know it's expensive, about 50k for the first year. But besides that, any feedback? Thanks.

I will be graduating next week. Your experience depends on your backround. Are u AA? It is not a diverse school, and if you have no problem with attending an almost all white school, then you will enjoy it. However, if you are black, it might be a different experience.

Specializes in primary, acute, longterm.

The Rochester area is a great and diverse area to live. Though I can't speak for the school experience, it is well known that the cost is high. Largest medical campus in the area as well.

ken02 thanks for writing about the school. would you say the teachers cared about how you did in class? were they fair? was it too fast? did you actually learn or did you feel it was too rushed for the one year bsn? were clinicals close by? i was told most students can get hired by the local hospitals. did you do the one year bsn or the 3 year msn? i really really appreciate your feedback. and i am sorry to hear about your concerns too.

Do you guys know which two schools are allied with UR? The FAQ on the UR website said that some people choose the ABPNN over the AMPNN because if you work as an RN for one of its two affiliated hospitals, the MS is free with tuition benefits? Has anyone have any experiences with that? Please let me know.
