Hi all,
I haven't found a forum for U of Roch nursing for Fall 2019. So I thought I should start one!

Quick Story:
i originally applied for Spring 2018 cohort and didn't make the cut. I was obviously disappointing and UofR was the only school i applied to. i was crushed knowing that ill have to wait another year just to apply to other programs.
Fast forward: for some unknown reason my application was resubmitted( not by me) for Fall 2018 and again i was rejected. i laughed it off because i knew i didnt submit an application.
Fast forward again lol: Dec 2018 i get an email from student affairs to complete my application for Jan 2019. By the time i saw the email, the deadline for Jan had passed. Perplexed and curious, i responded to the email ( February 2019) and told the rep that emailed me about my past rejections. He forwarded my response to Nancy (SHE'S THE BEST) and within 10 minutes she told retake a course that i had done poorly in. i asked her " is (are) there any other courses that i should be retaking", she told me something along the lines of "idk because the program is highly competitive and she couldn't give me a definitive answer.
Final fast forward i promise ?: May 2019 i tell her i have completed the course with an A, she then proceeds to schedule the phone interview. My interview went well i felt and today i received an acceptance email.
Final words: I DO NOT have superstar GPA, i do however have 2 yrs of healthcare experience, and i think my interview put me over the top tbh ( it was about 25 mins or so). To you and others who didn't make the cut this time around keep at it. I wish you all the BEST ?
