Hello everyone! I found this thread by running a Google search, hoping there are others similarly situated. It appears that I'm in luck. I live in Rochester and I've applied for the ABPNN for entry in Spring 2015. Had my interview in late July and I've been waiting on pins and needles ever since! I haven't heard anything yet, but according to a posting I found from last year it seemed those who were accepted began receiving calls around September 18th. If the same holds true for this year, hopefully we shall hear something beginning next week!

Hello all My name is Mayra, I as well had my interview the beggining of July and since then have been waiting very anxiously. I honestly feel like there's not as many people on this thread as passed application periods, it makes me wonder if that means we have more possibilities.... wishful thinking.... Well I hope everyone the best of luck and please keep us updated if you get any notices :)

So lets get to know eachother.... where is everyone from? what did you get your degree in? and what got you into nursing? I'll go first

I'm from California, I just graduated with a degree in Biology, I realized a little too late that i hated biology and i took a pathophysiology class and loved it... how about you guys?

I'm from the Rochester area and I've been living in the city for a few years now. I got my degree in fine arts (big switch, I know). I realized after college that art, while still a great interest of mine, may not be the best career path in the current job market. I have family in the health care industry, some of whom are nurses. After a great deal of chatting with them and contemplation over the last year, I decided I'd give it a shot.

Ok I was so anxious last week that I had to call. I was told that they were meeting this week to finalize decisions and then they would start contacting those who are admitted.

I have been waiting very anxiously. The wait is killing me....

And is it just me or has anyone else notice that this cohert doesn't have as many people posting as passed cycles.... I hope that means good news for us.
