University of Rochester ABPNN MAY 2020

Hello,

I thought I had stumbled upon a may 2020 forum but it must have been the 2019. I wanted to open a MAY 2020 to see where everyone is at on their wait/interviews, and for those like me who are out of state, if you had already looked into housing options. If any locals/previous students can give some pointers that will be great!

I had an interview back in the beginning of December and i still have not heard back about an admissions status. I plan on calling them to ask when I will hear back since I already got accepted to another program and need to make a decision.

Congrats on your other acceptance Gabriellao126, do you by chance know how the school will get back to you? When I spoke with my interviewer she said by mail but I read the previous 2019 forum and everyone was discussing how they got calls or had to call.

Thank you! I actually talked to one of the nurses I work with and he said he had to call them to get his acceptance. I think that’s the route I’m planning on taking.

I just had my interview on January 13th. Afterwards, I was told that the decisions would be made within 2-3 weeks and applicants would be notified in early February. Unfortunately I didn't ask how we would be notified of the decision.

Someone had an interview in early December? I didn't even receive an email offering me an interview until January 2nd?‍♂️?‍♂️

Hey! We are using the one that reads AMPNN May 2019, not sure why they put that year. I think because app was due 11/01/19 ? My interview was In November. Been waiting so long... it’s just been 12 weeks this week, and they did tell us mid feb. But it doesn’t give a lot of time. I am coming from out of town too.

I read that for those who had it in December submitted their application early. I didn’t get notified till mid/late December to schedule the interview for January. I submitted my Application close to the due date.

Is it for both AMPNN and ABPNN?

Yes ? first we have to be accepted into the ABPNN before hearing about the second round of the AMPNN.

I submitted my app a day before the due date and was interviewed end of November. I don’t think there is a rhyme or reason. From past forums it seems like there is inconsistency in acceptance notifications too.
