Hi peeps. A thread for University of Rochester ABPNN/AMPNN applicants for the Fall 2014, September 3 start.

rsharif- they give you a phone call to let you know you're accepted! I think they did their phone calls last week (not sure if they're still doing them). Everyone gets a letter in the mail, but they don't call if you're wait listed or didn't get in. I found out that I am on the WL because I called the office last week to find out my status.

I'm surprised that this thread is still so quiet! The threads from past cohorts usually got pretty busy around the time if acceptances. Hmm. :p maybe a lot of the accepted people won't choose UR, leaving space for those of us on the WL ;P

Hello everyone! I was accepted into the program last week as well. However, I'm still waiting for my official acceptance letter in the mail. I really loved how they took the time to call everyone, it made the acceptance so much more personal. I was wondering how far from the school some of you live and if anyone knows whether or not it is necessary to have a car on campus for clinicals. I'm from central New Jersey so it's quite a bit of a drive. Also, does anyone know if the Facebook group for the September 2014 cohort is up and running yet?!

I called the office and found out I'm on the WL too...still just trying to stay positive!
