Members are discussing the number of seats offered in a program, with some confusion about the exact number of full-time and part-time spots available. There is also debate about the fairness of offering acceptances early in the interview process and concerns about the scoring system. Additionally, members are inquiring about additional interview dates and waiting for acceptance notifications by the end of the month.
Hi all, just submitted my app on 11/10 and attended a zoom information session last night. Good luck everyone!

Does Pitt's application process do the lengthy verification process? I have seen other schools give a warning within the CAS app to submit 15 days before their deadline to allow time for verification, but there is no mention of this in Pitt's app or in email communications with faculty.
My app says its received, transcripts say arrived (in red), references say completed. My official transcripts were received by CAS electronically on January 8th.
How long have others waited for their app to become completed status after submitting?

Does anyone know if the hard application deadline is April 15th, regardless of whether when NursingCas verified our application? I was hit with nasty COVID-19 symptoms for over a week and now trying to catch up on answering the remaining questions.
My initial draft is also very long... how did everyone answer all the questions in 2 pages?
This is my first year applying. Very nervous is an understatement! Congrats to those who got accepted and best of luck to those applied!
Thank you!
The 15th is the hard deadline so everything must be submitted by then. My final draft was a little over two pages so it is possible to answer all the questions succinctly. I went through a couple of rounds of edits with friends which helped cut down on the pages. I remember from one of the info sessions they prefer that it's not super long like 2-3 pages at most.

Sorry, I had everyone confused with my original question! I meant April 15th is the SUBMITTED by, and NOT a verified by NursingCas deadline, right?

The application needs to be submitted and verified by nursingCas by the deadline, so make sure to submit at least a couple of days before to prevent verification delays!!

also beware about the weekend; nursingCas does not verify over weekend days

Once your application is verified, you will get a notification that tells you it is verified. You can also double-check by downloading your application, and everything should say verified next to it
Firstimerr said:Thank you so much, everyone! :(((( How long did it take for NursingCas to verify your applications?
Mine took around 3 days, but it is not the same for everyone. Some take longer because they have more transcripts or delays from them receiving a lot of applications at once

Thank you for responding so quickly! So it is OK even if NursingCas would not be able to verify my application in time by April 15th, right?
