University of Pittsburgh Online RN-BSN program?

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Is anyone currently enrolled/done it? Would you recommend it? How much did you end up paying? Is the cost of the online program really as much as the brick and mortar cost of attending?

I've been trying to find an online RN-BSN program but every time I'm almost ready to make the leap and commit to something, I'll find out something less than flattering about the program. I'm also weirdly paranoid that if I get my BSN through some of the lesser known (but cheaper!) online programs, I might shoot myself in the foot later if I decide I want to do grad school, both in terms of getting accepted and preparedness.

I've been working ~2 years as an RN and have a previous Bachelors of science and am looking to get the BSN done as quickly as possible (I have, in the past, taken 20+ units and worked, so I'm no stranger to not having a social life). Price is also a major concern though!

If any of you have any experience with University of Pitt's online program, I would love to hear your thoughts! I know it's pricier than other online programs, in general, but is it worth it in terms of your education? With a previous RN and BS under my belt, how many credits would I be required to take? Could I conceivably finish in a few semesters if I go hard, and save myself some money?

I would really appreciate any advice about Pitt, or even other online BSN program recs! There are just so many programs out there, promising so many different things, I'm at a bit of a loss (both of my previous degrees are brick and mortar only so I have no experience with online) and defaulting to something I know (in this case: Pitt).

Thanks guys!

I have no info on this, except Pitt is a reputable school.

If you are on Facebook, there is a Pittsburgh Nurses group with frequent questions about online BSN programs. Try there!
