Did anyone else apply by the Feb 15 priority deadline for Pitt? Looking at previous years it seems like they usually send out interview invites this week so here's hoping! :)

Anyone who received the call, did they give you a deadline to tell them that you were accepting or denying the admission?

No, they said that the graduate admissions office would email within the next week or so with info on the deposit/next steps

4 calls on the platform reported(all were from March interview)so I would assume that to be the initial 10 calls since not everyone who interviewed is on here. Going by past records it might take another week before the next phone calls. Wake me up when it's all over!

Just got the call. Will be joining y'all in January. So excited and can't wait to meet those that get in. Congrats to everyone else that's got on the phone call

Congrats y'all! here's to trying next year and not giving up ?

I applied early deadline but was not invited to interview, and no rejection email so far. I feel frustrated and confused. I am a Pitt grad with four years of ICU experience, including neonatal ICU, SICU, and CTICU, CCRN in neonatal and adult, two grad level courses, science GPA of 3.88, but my GRE was 290 tho...
I applied to six programs, and Pitt was the only one did not invite me to interview. I interviewed with three programs, and all got accepted, so I turned down the interview invitation from the other two programs.
I am just really confused why Pitt did not select me, and Pitt has always been my top choice, and I would love to return...
Anyway, congrats to anyone who got accepted!!

Just got the call 20  minutes ago. Looking forward to meeting everyone and please reach out if you are moving from a distance as I'm a local and willing to answer any questions about the area

Last year Pitt released decisions over 3 separate weeks (between July 19 and August 3), no need to assume it's over until it's over!

There are around 30 people in this forum and only 5 have gotten calls so far. Mathematically there will definitely be some more.

Thanks for the positivity. I think interviewing and getting rejecting is almost worse that not interviewing at all. Either way it stings ?

I absolutely feel you — I applied to 3 other schools besides Pitt, got rejected from 2, got waitlisted at 1 (and never heard back), and was feeling *very* pessimistic about Pitt because of the wait. It truly only takes one school, don't give up!! ?

Also, with how late they decided, there is a likelyhood that some people accepted have already paid a deposit somewhere else and may go there instead freeing up a seat. However, that will take a week or two at least from the time of acceptances going out so don't give up hope just yet!
