How do you find out you r an alternate in SD? Do they send you different letter or in one letter?

Do you know any place to rent for few days a week if I have to go Glendale? Thanks.

You will do this at orientation. Ace uniform will give you the opportunity to get shoes, scrubs, a stethoscope and your community polo shirt. I don't know if they are using the same brand of scrubs but they run really big so take your time trying them on. If I remember correctly you will also have the opportunity to purchase a book package.

That sounds like a good sign. I was just wondering if you get the email over the weekend or today? I'm also an alternate in SD. It sounds like you got in though. keep ur fingers crossed. =)

I talked to the counselor at Glendale, and she said that alternates will have a separate Orientation. She said that we will receive that email in a couple of days. She also mentioned that there were 47 alternates. I don't know if that is combined, or if it is just Glendale, but that seems really high. Apparently they choose alternates based on who has all of their coursework completed, and after that they look at GPA. I still have one course that won't be posted until August, so I am probably out of the running for the Fall.

All alternates,

This is sort of repeating what was posted but this is a direct quotewhen I asked about the alternate and orientation as well as period of time when alternate will be contacted.

"1. There are two events coming up, Open House and Orientation. Open House is being held July 20 in Glendale and 21 in San Diego. There will be an open house for all San Diego alternates to attend and that email will go out tomorrow or Wednesday. Glendale has not yet scheduled an event but may do so. I will contact admits and alternates regarding orientation at a later time.

2. Alternates can be notified as soon as an admitted student declines the offer. We have the option to admit an alternate, as needed, up to the start of the term."

Are we suppose to contact someone to accept an offer of admission? Or do I only need to pay the deposit mentioned in the letter to secure my spot? Thank you!
