Looking for some support. Anyone getting ready to apply? NursingCas opens August 8th!

Huh. Interesting. If that's true, I don't think they are the only ones that do this. I'm curious how many applicants there were!
"The averaged admitted student has obtained four (4) to five (5) years of experience working as a RN in a critical care setting, has a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and earned a 306 on the GRE (verbal and math sections combined). For the roughly 75 candidates invited to participate in the April 2025 admission interviews for Spring 2026, the averages were 153 Verbal, 151 Quant, 3.9 Analytical, 3.60 undergraduate GPA, and 3 years of CC/ICU experience." 👀 👀 from the FAQ section. good to know!

I went today. It was a bit impersonal as it was only 15 minutes, also because there's gotta be around 10-12 people at this huge table. However, the director sits nearest you. But, I will say, they definitely know who you are, they ask specific questions pertaining to YOU. It's not basic stuff like, oh tell me your strengths and weaknesses. They definitely approach it as: hey we spent a lot of time looking at all the stuff we made you submit, let's cut to the chase. The questions were pretty surface level, but again, about you. I'm from out of state so they asked why UNF. They also explicitly said that the interview list wasn't created via AI.

Oh wow! That's great that it wasn't via AI. And impressive that they really know YOU. That takes a lot of work. Hope you felt great about it! How many questions did they get into? I'm so nervous!

They asked me about why UNF, they asked about my undergrad history, they didn't ask a single thing about my work experience or certifications, Casper, or anything clinical. Now that was just me, the students who you do the Q&A with really emphasize they kinda just ask what they feel like. Because 15 minutes goes by super fast.

Also, seemed like every single one of them had their laptop opened. So I assume they probably created some kind of face sheet for each applicant that they could quickly refer to on the spot in the interview. Like I said, several several people in that room. Didn't count but had to be a dozen.
