Looking for some support. Anyone getting ready to apply? NursingCas opens August 8th!
Hi!! Just found this forum, but I applied as well and got an interview offer last week! I'm super excited. Congrats to everyone else that also got one! I'll be interviewing April 10th.
Does anyone happen to know how many people they typically interview and how fast decisions post interview usually take? Also, how many students do they accept into each cohort? I couldn't find it anywhere on the program website, but I Googled it and saw 28 students on another website?

I'd also love to hear everyone's stats, just out of curiosity, to see what kind of stats people had that got offered an interview vs not.
I got an interview invite last week. I've been an RN for a little over 2.5 years now (3.5 yrs by the time this admission cycle starts). I spent 1.5 yrs in a Level 4 Neonatal ICU and the rest of my experience to date has been in the Pediatric ICU. I wasn't sure if they'd even offer me an interview due to not having any adult ICU experience, but I'm super grateful they did, and I'm curious to see if they end up accepting anyone with only Peds experience. GPA of 3.92, Combined GRE of 314 & 4.0 on the essay portion, ACLS, PALS, BLS, CCRN-P, TNCC, serve as the unit's PET nurse sometimes, & I'm chair of our unit committee. I have a little bit of shadow experience. I feel like my personal statement was decent. I honestly had no clue if it was what they were wanting, but I was just myself and honest in my essay!
Good luck to everyone interviewing and to everyone who ends up applying to other places as well! 🙂

Hey! I am also a peds nurse and got an interview invite as well! I do have 1.5 years of adult experience and 2.5 years NICU/ PEDS. From what I read in last years forum it sounds like we get notified of a decision pretty quickly, but I'm not sure if this things will be the same. I also couldn't find anything about the class size besides the 28 students. Good luck on your interview and congrats on the invite!!

What were you able to find from previous years about how soon we get a decision? I figure we might know by end of April at the earliest but IDK
