UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Hello! I have not seen anything yet about a forum for the Summer 2026 cohort, so thought I would make one. I know it is pretty early because the application is not open yet but I am very nervous, especially because of my grades. How is everyone else doing?

Hello all, 

I seen that someone above mentioned they toured at UNC and was informed that the decisions should be out by mid November so I'm hoping next week, really the upcoming Monday LOL. I know everyone is anxious, I've been checking my email everyday.

He said he usually has to actually go out and recruit people from outside of Chapel Hill area to apply. Acceptance rate is more so around 50% for the ABSN program. I've been praying, this program and the school is so nice. He mentioned that it isn't a weed out program either, so once you're in, it's like family. 

Hey! Following up about the acceptance rate. I thought it was more-so 20-40%. Did the tour-guide say anything else about why it would be increasing?

Has anyone tried calling the admissions office to see when decisions will be released?

They are making a bigger building I think

LOL what! The admissions guy told me mid-November when I went to the tour LOL

He said not very many people know about the accelerated program and that he actually has to go out and recruit people to apply!

I also was told mid November when I called a couple weeks ago.

He said they already chose who they want back at the tour. He said they're just waiting for early undergrad admissions to go out at the same time

From my research the decisions have came out on a Friday for the last two years, last year being November 15th. So I think we will get them tomorrow November 14th - fingers crossed.
