UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Hello! I have not seen anything yet about a forum for the Summer 2026 cohort, so thought I would make one. I know it is pretty early because the application is not open yet but I am very nervous, especially because of my grades. How is everyone else doing?

Does anyone know when the decisions come out? I know it said it somewhere- I am thinking the application, and I can no longer see it.

I do not. I have seen on other threads that decisions came out November & December. I'm praying for the sooner the better! I hope we get in!

I went to an in-person tour of the School of Nursing. The tour guide worked in ABSN/BSN Admissions, told me decisions should be out by mid-November!

NO WAY!! I am getting nervous. When did you go on the tour/ did they say anything helpful?

Something reassuring was that he said not a lot of people know about the ABSN program, so they don't usually get a lot of applicants compared to other programs. He said he usually has to actually go out and recruit people from outside of Chapel Hill area to apply. Acceptance rate is more so around 50% for the ABSN program. I've been praying, this program and the school is so nice. He mentioned that it isn't a weed out program either, so once you're in, it's like family.

I just want to say thank you for this. I have been super anxious just about the unknown but praying and relying on the Lord for this one!! Praying for you too!

Oh yeah, no worries. Try not to let the anxiety get you. Remember 1 Peter 5:7! I've just been praying and praying and praying whenever I worry about it LOL. We will be all good 🙂

Hi! I applied in August and it said all my transcripts were received on my applicant portal. When I go to my portal homepage now it shows duplicate names of the same schools that are missing. This did not happen until recently because I've been checking it every few weeks. Does it look like this for anyone else? Thinking it's probably a glitch but not sure. Thanks 🙂

The UNC ABSN FAQ section says 14-16 weeks after the close of applications, which would be Mid/End December. Hopefully it's earlier

Mine still looks complete when I open it, so probably worth contacting them with your reference number.
