University of New England (UNE) CRNA 2025

Published

Starting a thread for those who applied to the University of New England's CRNA program starting in fall 2025. Anyone know a time frame for when they send out invites to interview?

I interview soon as well 🥹 I've had so many rejections and waitlists it's making me so nervous. Every school interviews differently and every year is different. I usually have the classic EI questions and sometimes some easy clinical ones but I've also had the opposite, super in depth Qs. Friends of mine were asked "if you could be any type of ice cream, which would it be and why?”…so yea..random. Regardless, good luck to you all, whether you got an interview or not, you just gotta keep on moving.

I'm in the same boat. Lots of rejection and waitlists. What kind of in depth questions did you have in the past? I haven't had an interview with clinical questions yet. I like strange questions like the ice cream one - I think it's an opportunity to show your personality a bit

Some interviewers asked me to describe my patient and then they probe you with questions to see the extent of your knowledge. I.e. What is sepsis? What does it do to your body, why do your electrolytes look like ____? How come the pH is low? what would you expect to happen with ScvO2 and the SvO2? What meds would you give and what receptors are being activated? Five an example of an ABG that matches that patient, etc. That's an example of one of my questions 🥺.

In a few days! 😅

How did the interview go? Was your interview with "Kira Talent?”

For those who have interviewed, was the interview style mostly emotional intelligence?

I got an invite today for interview next Wednesday! I hear in the past it's been mostly EI and some clinical questions, last year was entirely EI.

They switched it to zoom! The interview went OK I think. We'll see! They did say decision roll out in the beginning of April. Good luck to everyone

Anyone else think the interview was brutal?

I'm happy it wasn't just me who thought this LOL

Ugh. I'm sure you did great! Was it mostly EI or clinical questions? I'm pretty sure mine is going to be with Kira Talent. Was yours on zoom?

It was on zoom. They said they didn't have a positive trial with Kira so they are switching to zoom, you should be getting an email from the assistant director that contains your zoom link prior to your interview

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice to offer for the interview process?

Thank you and good luck!
