Hello Everyone!
Looking to hear from others who have applied to the UNE CRNA program to start in May 2018. I applied earlier this month and figured it would be helpful to start a thread where we could share information.
Best of luck to everyone!

There are a few questions asking how often you do certain skills such as IABP, CRRT etc, and if you answer yes that you do them, it asks how many times per week. Do you know the best way to answer that if you do them but not necessarily every week? I feel like I can either put 1 day a week or 0, but I don't want to underplay myself and don't want to make it seem like I do something more than I do either. Any suggestions? Thanks again for all your help! I hope clinicals are going well.
I vaguely remember that question. Is there a spot for a note? You should have those skills listed on your CV, so if there is any question, the admissions committee can refer to that to clear up the details. If you put 1 time per week (even though it may be less frequent than that), simply be able to confidently portray your competence w/ the management of those pieces of equipment, be it in your admissions essay or at the interview if need be.
Hope that helps.

I’m turning my application in this weekend and was just curious if anyone knows how long it takes to find out if you get an interview.
beat of luck!
I did not end up applying this year. Finishing the Chem 1, chem 2, Organic chem, and Biochem prerequisites (right after finishing my bachelor's) was going to mean being in school for two full years right before I would start at UNE so I decided to put in applications for a few other schools this year, and if I don't get in to any of them, to apply for UNE next year. I really didn't want to be burnt out in the middle of the program (not to mention broke!). Good luck to you!! Let me know how it goes.
@Sara D. Hi Sara, I just got an interview date for UNE. Aside from reviewing medications used often (down to molecular level) and working on common CRNA interview questions, is there anything else that you would recommend doing to prepare for the interview? (without disclosing anything about the interview process specifically).
Thanks!
Sara D.

Honestly, I'm not at liberty to discuss the details of the interview process. What I can tell you is, as long as you portray self confidence, can verbalize your knowledge of critical concepts, are able to articulate and act professionally under pressure, and are able to prioritize tasks during times of stress, you'll do just fine. Above all, be yourself and don't be afraid to stand out in your own right...it speaks volumes to your potential success as an SRNA.
