Hello, I didn't see a thread for the CRNA program for UM, 2025. Anyone else applying ??

Thanks for being so candid with us! Again, congratulations; it sounds like you absolutely deserve it! Do you think you'll accept the offer or consider going elsewhere?

Thank you : )

Yeah of course. I think it helps present and future applicants to know what they're getting into. I like helping my fellow nurse brethren where I can.

I'm leaning towards accepting the offer. They gave me a month to decide. I'll wait until the last second to register though. Only because I'd be moving very far from home if I take the acceptance.

It's much appreciated! And yeah, I can imagine that it's a huge decision to make, but it'll be worth it.

Hey guys!

I just found this thread. I interviewed last Friday (the 8th). My stats are

GPA 3.5

Science 3.9

1.5 years CVICU and 1 year MICU

CCRN

Charge/Preceptor

40 hours shadowing

Do you guys think they will be sending the decisions in waves like the interview invitations? I was told it would take 4 weeks and I'm shocked they already sent one.

I was also told in my interview that acceptances would go out in April.

Do we hear if we don't get an interview? I have very similar stats to those that have interviewed,  but have not received an interview invitation or an interview rejection.

I received emails saying that I met criteria for their requirements and to await further instruction.

I also never received CaneLink information. Has this happened to anyone else?

Specializes in ICU, Coronary ICU, MICU, Cardiac Cath Lab.

Just following up with thread now. Congrats to those who have interviewed, received acceptance letters, and those who have received interview invitations. I interviewed the 29th last month, be ready to speak about anything within your specialty and anything listed on your resume. Like most people have been saying, wait 4-6 weeks for an answer, they told me they had an extensive amount of applicants this year when compared to others. It sure will be as competitive as it gets for the spots. Thought I'd share my stats with you all and wish you all good luck.

Overall GPA: 3.58

Science GPA: 4.0

6 Years ICU (CCU, MICU/SICU), 2 Years Intra-Op Cardiac Cath Lab, CCRN, Preceptor Experience ICU/CathLab, 150 Shadow Hours Over the Years

Good Luck to All!

I am not sure if they notify you if you don't get an interview. I asked the admissions person and she completely ignored that question. I did go back and look at last years thread and they were interviewing well into May. I feel like you still have time. Don't be too worried.

What I don't understand is how they can be still interviewing and sending out acceptances at the same time. There's only 40 slots.

Specializes in ICU.

Hi everyone!

Has anyone received or heard of anyone that got updates yet? The anticipation is killing me 😕

Specializes in CVICU.

No. This week makes five weeks since my interview. Hopefully we hear something soon.

5 weeks for me too. The interviewer said it'll be 4-6 weeks.  If not this week by next week we should have some answers.

Specializes in SRNA3.

Good luck everyone! I'm a senior in the program.  Seeing these threads gives me so many memories.  Just wanted to let you know that UM is a phenomenal program, and you should consider coming here.  Wishing you all the best!

I hope to be where you are and I'm hoping to be accepted in the program. It would be such an honor to be there. 🤞🏽
