Hey I was accepted in June and my healthcare experience is very low. I started volunteering at Baptist hospital in March, so it’s only been about 3 months. I graduated with a 3.7 GPA and I’m not sure what my pre reqs GPA is but it is above 3.6. I think what stood out in my application was that fact that I was a full time worker and a student taking 7+ courses these past two semesters to be able to finish my bachelor and pre reqs in time for applications. It’s great to show you can do so much because this is an accelerated and intensive program. Hope this helps! And good luck ?

Yeah of course! So my overall gpa is 3.8! My healthcare experience dates back to 2015, I believe I acquired close to 200 hours volunteering and shadowing at a nursing home, hospital, and a type one diabetes organization(JDRF).
Hopefully that helps, lmk if you have any more questions!
Hi everyone! I submitted my application about 2 weeks ago. I majored in Nutrition with a cumulative GPA of 3.42. The major was only one class different than pre-med, so I’m hoping it gives me an edge as the classes were all science based. I worked as a nutritionist in a clinical setting for over a year and a half- 2,780 hours. This includes working hand in hand with the doctor and writing clinical notes. I had to call Anna to check on everything Monday, and they mistakenly didn’t accept my chemistry class. So I just started the review. I would always double check with her if you are unsure, she is really helpful. I am super nervous since spots are surely filling up. Best of luck to everyone and I hope to see you in the spring!
