University of Miami

Hi I'm thinking about applying to the University of Miami nursing accelerated BSN program is anyone currently in the program? I would like to know a students opinion about the program. How are the classes? are they done one at a time in a semester? For example: is adult health taken in 6 or 7 weeks then on to the next. Or do you take all the four classes at one time? Is it difficult to get in the program? Can you work while in the program part time? any info would be very helpful:) I have tried calling the campus, but its hard to get a straight answer.

Did you ever find any information? I can try to help you as best as i can from what i have learned from other threads (since I also posted one of my own for this school). I am applying for may 2012. What i know is that you probably cannot work, especially during the 1st summer session because its pretty intense and fast paced. i don't think its extremely difficult to get into the program specifically if you have a strong gpa, have all your prereqs done at time of application, and write a good strong essay about your nursing aspirations. The earlier you apply the better of course. The scholarship they offer on the other hand is extremely difficult to get, you really need to be on top of things. Let me know if i can help you with anything else

I applied to the University of Miami ABSN 2012. Does anyone out there know the average GPA accepted? Or how many students are typically accepted/rejected each year?
