Hi Everyone!

I know that it’s super early, but the application JUST opened up this past Saturday February 1st, so I thought I’d start up a thread.

I submitted my application on the 1st and I’m wishing all of you the best of luck!

Thank you, I have a 4.0 GPA, no experience in the medical field.

Just got a letter saying there were not enough available seats so I am on a waitlist. Did anyone else get that?

For those wondering, my overall GPA is a 3.47, 4.0 Pre-req, lots of community service and over 2000+ working at a nursing home.

I just received an email saying I was on the waitlist. I emailed and asked how many people are on the waitlist and the odds of being excepted...basically can I be given anymore information. She stated she was not able to disclose anymore information.

Ugh trying not to be disappointed. CONGRATS to everyone who was accepted tho! ?

Hey guys, I missed out on getting decisions from schools Fall 2020 because I was unaware that the applications had to be “verified” in nursingcas. It was my first year applying and using that website. I didn’t get into any schools that cycle because of it.

Also, I have been receiving regular emails with status updates from UM since I applied back in may. I noticed that I stopped receiving emails 2 months ago and upon reaching out to the admission rep they told me they found a problem and will be fixing it so I can start receiving emails again. Also, don’t worry too much about stats because they do take a holistic approach and remember it also depends on your personal statement, letter of recs and experience as well. I wish you all of the best of luck and don’t lose hope!

Hey everyone! I was accepted a couple weeks back. Is there a forum that everyone who's been accepted connecting on? Excited to meet everyone and would love to connect with others who were accepted!
