I guess it's meant for those that are interested but may have not applied yet I'm not sure.

Congratulations everyone! I was recently accepted to the Summer 2023 program and look forward to meeting everyone soon ? !

Just a few quick questions:

1) Does anyone know the official start date for the Summer 2023 term? Looking at the UM academic calendar, seems like it could tentatively be in May?

2) Also, the last email I received from UM was a confirmation that the deposits have been received, then nothing else. Has this been your experience as well? And has anyone received information about orientation?

I checked the academic calendar for the whole university and I believe the start of the Summer semester is May 15. I haven't heard anything about orientation dates though.

Anyone else seeing how the off campus housing cost just keeps going up.

Can't even find a studio/1bdr for $2000.

Yeah the rental market in Miami is crazy expensive. If you'll have a car when you're here, I would recommend checking for places a little outside of Coral Gables, like Kendall and Pinecrest. The commute isn't ideal, but they tend to have slightly cheaper options than Coral Gables.
