Hi everyone! I know it's extremely early but I wanted to start a thread because I'm sure that like me, many of you have lots of questions. I'm hoping that this thread can be used to help us get answers! I would also like to know what other schools are you all applying to.
Any students that were previously accepted and willing to share their tips, stats, experience, etc we will gladly appreciate it.
Good luck to everyone. We got this!
Does anyone have updates at how their application went?
I've officially applied for the May 2019 program, completely verified sine 9/20/18 in Nursing CAS but haven't heard a peep yet.
Finishing my last 3 pre-reqs now but have high A's in all three at this point so feeling good about finishing strong.
My only question will be whether or not they will waiver my Chemistry classes(I have 2) that are over the 10yr. mark otherwise I'll have to take that one in the spring prior to program start if I get in.
I'm accepted at Keiser Ft. Myers and Keiser Sarasota's ABSN programs that start in May but UM is my first choice.
Side note Keiser Ft. Myers actually has slots available for their January cohort if anyone is interested.
I applied and was completely verified by 9/20. Still shows at UM to be incomplete application which they said means no decision has been made. The 2018 cohort didn't get any response until Jan 2 and some as late as first week of May.
The stats have been more ellusive...Here's mine:
I have a 3.74 overall GPA currently.
Post Bach: 4.0
4.0 in Pre-reqs so far, but finishing last three(currently looks like I'll keep that 4.0) which will then bump up my overall GPA to 3.76
Degree is in Forensic Psychology
Also, although it says you can be In Progress I don't believe anyone in 2018 Cohorts actually received official word until no pre-reqs were outstanding.
Hoping we don't have to wait until new year.
Best of luck!!

You're right, They are really expensive but they may be more lenient. If you go to Nova, Barry or MDC you can get the Baptist scholarship and that'll pay for your tuition.
